Im a big Paul Weller fan, who had one of these and gave it to Noel Gallagher who I am also a fan of, so its a given I was partly inspired ny them. It's finished with the classic crescent moon cutaways, two-tier pickguard and chrome "R" tailpiece. The original high-gain pickups sound fantastic - classic Rickenbacker tone.įinally it comes with its original hard case (also in exceptional condition), and paperwork as pictured. Im not even the biggest fan of white guitars, but the White Rickenbacker 330 has always been a dream guitar of mine. The headstock boasts the original Schaller tuners alongside the classic Rickenbacker logo and walnut headstock wings.
It has a maple body, and the maple/walnut neck has a comfortable medium C shaped (slim-medium) profile and the nitro finished thick slab rosewood fretboard has vintage style frets. The frets are also in decent condition with minor wear - plenty of life left in them. Very good condition for age with some minor blemishes as per the pics. The 330 has come to define the look and sound of an array of musical genres, from the British Invasion of the ‘60s, to ‘80s jangle pop in the capable hands of Johnny Marr of the Smiths, to ‘90s alternative rock – it is a true icon. It looks great, but both can be removed if you prefer the guitar to be as original.
